We are very excited to welcome Joel Pastore to MicroByre as our new Vice President of Business Development

Joel is excited to be a part of our exciting journey, where he will be responsible for our commercial and customer facing activities, including all business development, marketing and sales efforts. Under his leadership, MicroByre will significantly expand it’s reach to support and offer additional pathways for customers to develop sustainable and climate friendly solutions using our proprietary bacterial domestication platform.

Joel has spent more than 20 years leading teams in the development and implementation of successful growth strategies to market and sell sustainably focused chemical solutions to industrial customers. At Cargill, Elevance, Ecolab and Nalco, he demonstrated leadership in B2B customer-facing sales and service and marketing. A driven business professional, he also has held successful roles in global corporate management consulting, mergers and acquisitions, and procurement/supply chain management. Joel earned an MBA in Finance, Strategy and Entrepreneurship from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University. He also served as a Junior Officer in the US Naval submarine community.
